Personal Injury Attorney
Michael Bodey

Michael Bodey knows what it’s like to face systems that feel stacked against you. Growing up in Port Angeles, Washington, in a home with a disabled father, Michael learned early that life often doesn’t make things easy. He began working at age eight, and by the time he was fourteen, he was already working multiple jobs to help support his family.

Those experiences instilled a determination and work ethic that would guide him through every challenge he faced – and a deep sense of justice that drives him to stand for people who might otherwise be overlooked.

After navigating the path to higher education largely on his own, Michael worked as an automobile claims adjuster. Seeing how insurance companies often exploited vulnerable, injured people inspired him to go to law school.

He was drawn to personal injury law because it gave him the chance to stand up for individuals when the odds seemed stacked against them. Michael believes the law should work for people, not just corporations, and he is dedicated to leveling the playing field for those who have been wronged.

Today, Michael works every day to stand with people who are permanently injured or feel outmatched by forces bigger than themselves. He fights for them because he knows what it means for families to be overlooked. For Michael, law is a way to transform the challenges he has faced into meaningful advocacy for others.

One of his proudest moments wasn’t a headline-grabbing verdict; it was helping a mother save her home after an injury left her in financial jeopardy. Securing her family’s stability and watching them thrive in the years that followed is a reminder of why he does this work.

Michael approaches every client relationship with honesty and clarity. He believes in telling the truth, even when it’s difficult, because trust is the foundation of effective advocacy. When clients feel understood and supported, they can face the challenges ahead with confidence, and Michael fights tirelessly to ensure they are never alone in that process.

Outside the office, Michael enjoys the outdoors and the patience and focus it demands. He’s an avid fly fisherman, a dedicated cross-country skier, and a Labrador retriever enthusiast. These pursuits help him maintain balance and persistence, traits that carry into his work with clients every day. Above all, he values time with family and cherishes the role he plays in helping others build stability and security for the people they care about most.
